This Student serie violin is made to satisfy any student beginning to feel comfortable around their instrument.
These instruments are a combination of:

• Quality wood coming from different areas of Europe
• The skills of violin makers with long experience in the workplace
• A model personally designed by Scott Cao

Those criteria’s create the ideal tone and playability for children and adults.
In small sizes the STV17E models get wider, the ribs higher creating a bigger sound volume than other small size violins, the thickness of the wood is worked to proportion to allow the violin to vibrate freely.
The brown/ amber varnish is oil based with an antique finish with a beautiful golden colour grounding.

All STV17E violins are hand made with European flamed maple back and sides, European maple neck, European spruce top, ebony fingerboard, pegs and chinrest.
